[Update Notice] Document Centralization at Creation, and Improvements on UI

Hello Collavate Users !

Here are our updates for March. We have listened to your comments and suggestions, and they are reflected in these updates. Your further comments and suggestions are always welcome!

1. More Versatile PDF download/print function for Google Sheets

We know that it’s a hassle trying to print a Google Sheet document which requires delicate touches before printing. Therefore, Collavate made it simpler by enhacing our PDF download feature.

We improved on the old version which only incuded the option to select layouts so now you can select various print options, and paper size. We hope that this improvement will make your day easier.

2. Improvements to Collavate’s Add-on for Google Docs & Google Sheets

We have also made improvements to Collavate’s Add-on for Google Docs/Google Sheets, which you can access by installing it from the ‘Add-ons’ section.

The screen where you select a reviewer has become more organized, and a previous bug which caused screen tearing has been fixed.

Another option has also been added to Collavate. It’s the button that allows you move a processed document to the “COLLAVATE” folder at Google Drive, or not. Before this update, all the documents were automatically located in the “COLLAVATE” folder. By disabling this option, you can make the document stay where you want it to be.

3. Removal of “Date of Birth” entry from “Update My Profile” Menu

The “Date of Birth” field has been removed from the “Update My Profile” menu. .

4. Automatic Centralization of Documents at Creation

Previously, ownership of documents that were processed were transferred to the Document Manager. Now, you can transfer ownership when the document is created.

To enable or disable this option, go to [Domain Settings] from the Admin menu. By turning this feature on, system administrators can centralize all the documents that every user creates in the organization’s domain.

5. Mouse Over effect

Some of you may already have noticed this; Collavate has implemented the mouse-over effect. The mouse-over effect occurs when the colors of an icon or font style change when the cursor above them is implemented. This adds more polish to the UI and users can easily see where the mouse cursor is.
